For 4 portions
Ingredients:
400 g fillet of beef
1 tbsp Fajita Mix
2 tbsp lime juice
4 tbsp olive oil
3 onions
3 peppers (red, green, yellow)
crème fraîche
Frijoles Refritos (refried beans)
18 small wheat flour tortillas
Hot sauce to taste
Salt, pepper
1. cut the beef fillet, peppers and onions into strips.
2. mix the fajita spice, lime juice and olive oil well in a bowl. Add the meat, mix well and leave to marinate in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours.
3. heat a large pan and sear the meat in batches. Remove from the pan and set aside.
4. fry the onions in the same pan until translucent, then add the bell pepper strips and fry. Add the meat and simmer everything together for 5 minutes.
5. Season to taste with salt, pepper and a little lime juice.
6. serve with the warm tortillas, guacamole, crème fraîche, frijoles refritos and hot sauce.
Serving suggestion: The fajitas can be served straight from the pan with the side dishes so that everyone can fill their own tortillas as they wish.
