4 salmon fillets (150-200g each)
1 cup of Salsa de Cereza & Cascabel (cherry-cascabel sauce) from Mex-Al
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
olive oil
Brown rice, as a side dish
Fresh asparagus, as a side dish
1. preheat the airfryer: Preheat the airfryer to 200°C (390°F) for a few minutes.
2. prepare the salmon: Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper to taste. Brush them generously with the cherry-cascabel sauce so that they are completely covered.
3. cook the salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the airfryer, making sure they are slightly separated to ensure even cooking. Cook for about 10-12 minutes. The time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets and the power of the airfryer.
4 Prepare the asparagus: While the salmon is cooking, season the asparagus with a little olive oil and salt. Add the asparagus to the salmon in the last 5-6 minutes of the cooking time. Add some more cherry-cascabel sauce to the fillets to caramelize them.
5 Serve: Once the salmon is cooked and the sauce is caramelized, serve the glazed salmon fillets with the roasted asparagus. Serve with brown rice.
6. enjoy: Bon appétit!
