2 cloves of garlic
2 cans whole black beans á 560g, drained
2 tablespoons tahina (sesame seed paste)
juice of half a lemon
1 teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon ground chile chipotle or to taste
3 tablespoons plain yogurt (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
Place garlic cloves in food processor and finely mince. Add black beans and puree. Add remaining ingredients (it is recommended to start with less and increase as desired) and blend until smooth. Taste and add more seasoning as needed. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Can be served with tortilla chips.
Remarque : le houmous est une spécialité orientale préparée à partir de pois chiches ou de fèves réduits en purée, de purée de sésame (tahina), d'huile d'olive, de jus de citron, de sel et d'épices comme l'ail et le cumin.
